Wir sind anfangs Mai in Basel an der 👉Swissbau Innovation Lab. Als junges Start-up freut es uns sehr, erstmals als Aussteller dabei zu sein!

From January 25, 2022 you will find us in Schlieren at Unterrohrstrasse 5. The new premises offer us more space for further innovations and new teammates. The phone numbers remain unchanged.

A turbulent year is drawing to a close. We have achieved a lot and have planned a lot for next year: In addition to the market launch of the zigfred plus, the continuous improvement of the product and the "user experience", implementation of customer requests (app) and conquering new markets 😅.

Firmware version 20 for zigfred uno fixes many reported problems and improves stability. With the new scan functionality, devices are now found more reliably in the Zigbee network and duplicate entries should no longer appear in the app. In addition, group control via the Philips Hue Bridge, the Philips Hue motion detector, as well as reading and regular reporting of output states (Zigbee Attribute Reporting) now works.

When a setting is reconfigured in the zigfred, the zigfred flashes green briefly if the reconfiguration is successful (otherwise it flashes red).

The whole team has been working towards this moment for a long time, and now the time has finally come: The first zigfred uno have been delivered to our pre-order customers. We are incredibly proud. At this point, a big thank you to our community - for your support and especially for your patience.

We are very happy to receive your feedback 😊.

It's time: The first zigfred uno have arrived at our test customers and have been installed. The installation is closely accompanied by our development and foundation team, because the experiences of our test customers are worth their weight in gold. We are learning what we can improve on the zigfred uno in terms of hardware and firmware until the official launch. What already works smoothly? Where does it need more explanation for the end customer? What can we optimize? It's a steep learning curve we're riding right now, but it's a lot of fun and in the end it will give you an even better product for your future smart home. 

That is what we are aiming for with zigfred. And it looks good that this will succeed. The feedback after the product presentation at the Smart Home Forum in January 2021 was extremely positive. And since this presentation, we have also been receiving a lot of pre-orders. This confirms once again that the product idea meets an effective customer need. Which of course, makes us very happy and gives us an additional boost for the final development. Because the official launch it's around the corner. zigfred uno will be available from August 2021 and zigfred plus from November 2021 via various distribution channels. However, we are already making a first test series available to various customers in March. In this way, we can ensure that we receive further qualitative feedback from users. Ideally, we will be able to take this feedback into account in the final development over the next few months. With this in mind, stay tuned!

Finally, we can tell you that zigfred will be launched in the spring of 2021.

Over the past weeks and months, we have received countless phone calls and emails from you with inquiries, praise and valuable input. Many thanks for that!

We are happy to fulfill your smart home wishes with zigfred and at the same time to give you the opportunity to support the Swiss startup scene 😉

In order to offer you the best possible product, we have now found the ideal Swiss partner. Together we will put the finishing touches to the smart home switch zigfred and bring it to the stores for your lighting projects in time for spring 2021.

Our corporate customers also have reason to rejoice: With our new partner, we can access established sales channels in the shortest possible time and thus implement projects even more easily.

We still have a lot of plans! To be prepared for the future, we have founded a new company together with our partner: Siglis AG. With this collaboration, we combine the creativity and open philosophy behind zigfred with the decades of experience of our Swiss industry partner.

As of September, our energetic team will be located at Hardturmstrasse 161 in Zurich, very close to the Toniareal. Of course, we will continue to provide you with interesting insights behind the scenes.
